Make my day
There is a dream in the heart of a youngish man that there will one day be a meeting place for makers in Chattanooga. Makers of solutions. Makers of contrivances. Makers of whatever dreams are in the heart of whatever makers come through the door.
Here we can collaborate, fellowship, share wisdom, find solutions and meet greater goals.
We thrive on the freedom to take paths less traveled and the responsibility to make things better.
Today, Make Way! is virtual. Indeed, this is how many dreams begin. One day, though, I hope it will be a real space where we can work with real tools (hard and soft) to help us see in reality what we already see in our minds.
For now, check out the blog. Hang around. Share some comments.
What's in your mind struggling to get out?

Making Chatt*lab a reality
For awhile I have felt the need for a makerspace in Chattanooga, and have since been making small steps to start one. Unfortunately, it would be years before I could start anything workable. Fortunately, there is Chattlab. These folks share my love for making and many of my philosophies about how making should happen. They are also lightyears ahead of me as far as coming up with a usable space and workable organization. For this reason, I am going to join them in their efforts. By collaborating, I think we can work together to come up with a space that will serve the community better than either of us could on our own.
So what will happen to MakeWay?
Makeway will continue to be my personal blog and an outlet for my personal making projects, hacks and philosophies. It will hopefully draw people to Chatt*lab and increase Chatt*lab's success.
It is important to note, however, that the views and opinions on this site are my own and not necessarily shared by Chatt*lab. (But we do think a lot alike ;)
